My favourite album of all time

My favourite is probably Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon" and wow, it is incredible. Tracks like "On the Run", "Time", and "Any Colour You Like" amazed me so much. The intro to "Time" is probably one of the best I have ever heard. Almost all the songs sound weird to me. "On the Run" sounds like music from another planet to me but when you realise how incredible it sounds you lose that feeling completely. This album stayed on the Billboard top 200 for over fourteen years, (741 weeks to be precise) and is the third best selling album of all time worldwide. So at least I know that there are people out there who feel the same way as I do.

trees

Today I was selling Christmas tree at st. Leonard's church with the 56/93 sunny brook scouts from 12:00-2:00, it was -13 degree outside .We sold 2 trees a balsam fir and a white pine. We sold with another family the boy was a beaver (5-7 years old) his dad was a police officer. Me Matt and the little boy got bored so we cut a stick and whipped the stick into the snow and would race to find the stick. we made up a new game "snow ball" we cut up another stick and we dug a ditch in the ground we would throw the stick into the ditch and would get a point but the other kid (Matt) would try to catch the ball or swat the ball away in the end after the hot chocolate and donut it was a great experience

Perhaps the most exciting 5 minutes and 21 seconds of my life

Down 2-0 to the New York Rangers last saturday night, 5:21 was all it took for the Leafs to score 5 quick goals and eventually win the game 5-2. It all started when John Mitchell scored off a quick shot to the left of Stephen Valliquette for his first NHL goal. Less than two minutes later, Jason Blake scored to even it at 2 goals apiece. Just over a minute later, Pavel Kubina blasted a slapshot past Valliqette to put the Leafs ahead, 3-2. It wasn't over yet since John Mitchell got his second goal of the night shortly after. Finally, Dominic Moore topped it all off with a goal with just over two minutes left in the game. I was in complete disbelief after it was over. John Mitchell got a well earned 3 points on the night. oh

The City Of Ember

The City Of Ember takes place in a city where the sky is always dark. The only light comes from the many streetlights around the city. After 241 years, the city begins show its age, as the many lights in the city start to flicker. The story follows Lina Mayfleet and her friend Doon Harrow as they try to save their city from disaster. At the end of the book, it is revealed that the city is actually underground. All I can say is that I enjoyed this book. and I can't wait to read the sequel. Also there is a movie coming out in October.
Bottom Line: A complex but enjoyable novel.
